ALICIA SIMMONS
Alicia Simmons opened the doors of her
home back in September 2021 and started
Valley View Preschool in her living room!
She saw a need in the community for a part day preschool program and hosted 3 different classes throughout the week, serving 25 families. Alicia knew it was already time to expand so for the following school year she rented a house close by that was exclusively for preschool. She also hired two employees and together Valley View Preschool hosted 6 classes weekly and served over 45 families. Alicia has a Bachelors Degree in Child Development and 17 years of early childhood experience! She truly has a passion for young children, building relationships with families and considers it a privilege and blessing to serve the Flathead Valley! Mrs. Alicia is married and is a mom to four children. She is always on site and even teaches some of the classes.

Curriculum:
We use an emergent curriculum, taking into account internets of the children, developmental needs & skills.
90% of a child's brain growth happens before they start Kindergarten. Those first five years of life help shape how a child's brain develops.
During this time, over one million new neural connections are made every second, more than at any other time in life. It's no wonder that experiences early in life can have a lasting impact on a child's later learning, behavior, and health!
Since we know this, how do we support our children during those crucial years?
We talk, read, play, sing, laugh, dance, discover, jump, climb, and explore!! Let’s do that with intention! We provide hands on learning experiences to set a strong foundation for learning. We believe children are competent, capable and uniquely made individuals.
Our job is to provide them with an environment where they feel secure, confident and empowered. You’ll see a lot of our curriculum and activity plans stem from the children’s interests and ways to help children reach new developmental milestones.

to build curiosity and critical thinking skills. With each week or month-long unit study,
you'll cover core academic subjects + meaningful life skills in a gentle way that works
with and supports your child's natural learning development
The Learn + Live Letter
The Learn + Live Letter is a hands-on, play-based unit study program for
children ages 3-12. Our flexible, faith-neutral homeschool unit studies bring joy
back to learning while providing empowering guidance for the grownups teaching them.
